Angel House is a beacon of hope and help for the Dearborn community.
We are a center that provides vocational training, one-on-one counseling, and skill-building classes, working together for the good of our community.
We recognize the challenges of learning English as a second language. To better meet the needs of the community, there is a native Arabic speaker on staff at Angel House.
English as a Second Language
Angel House provides basic phonics learning and six levels of ESL classes for participants, using Step Forward curriculum by Oxford University. It is a standards-based language learning for work and academic readiness.
Current Class Times
Tuesday & Wednesday
10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. – Women’s classes
5:00-6:30 p.m. – Men’s classes
Counseling
Angel House realizes much adjustment is necessary when immigrating to America. We offer opportunities for our students to seek confidential advice and wisdom with compassion and integrity in marriage, parenting, legal issues, and health care, just to name a few.
