We provide a center for learning in a uniquely hands-on immersion setting.
People enjoy learning more about the beautiful, rich Middle Eastern culture. Many college students desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of people who have immigrated to America. We have opportunities for visitors including family visits, short-term trips, and student internships.
Angel House is located in the heart of Dearborn with its multitude of authentic Middle Eastern bakeries, coffee shops, butcher shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. You will hear the Arabic language spoken, see a diverse group of Middle Eastern people, enjoy wonderful food, and feel as if you have been transported directly into a Middle Eastern Arab country.
Short-Term Trips
Short-term trips are available throughout the year, providing cultural learning opportunities and unique engagement and immersion within the community.
Work Programs
Work programs are available for those who have skills and an interest in practical areas, such as construction, simple repairs, landscaping, and maintenance.
Volunteer Opportunities
Can you teach English? Would you like to help with child care or provide hospitality for our students? Do you have an ability or gift you could share? Many openings are available to volunteer and be a blessing to the community!
Internships
Students in colleges and universities may need to fulfill practicum or internship requirements in areas of study related to the mission and environment of Angel House. We provide experienced educational oversight for these internships.
